Weird Paul - A Lo Fidelity Documentary
Documentary is an in depth look into the creative life of a DIY recording artist named Weird Paul Petroskey. Paul sparked interest throughout the indie/college rock scene after releasing several homemade cassette albums on his own label in the mid 80's.
Paul's tapes began to circulate amongst college radio DJ's and were also sold through the K Records mail order catalog. This scored Paul a record Deal with the Legendary Homestead Records allowing him to record the classic album Lo Fidelity, Hi Anxiety in 1991.
This is the story of how Paul's unique humor, do it yourself aesthetic and knack for writing catchy tunes has inspired so many unlikely characters. From fellow rockers, aspiring musicians, artists, Chi-Chi's line cooks, family members and to so many others, Paul's music has definitely left a lasting impression.

This film has played in the Chicago Underground Film Festival & The Leeds International Film Festival 2006.
